Hi, I’m Shannon…

and I’m creatively-fluid.

By that, I mean I do more than one thing. It sounds braggadocious to some, to say you have multiple proficiencies. I get it. But for me, it’s about being honest with who I am in this season. I’m not who I used to be, nor are my work preferences.

I was flat broke when I began as a solopreneur nearly two decades ago. My personal and professional life had taken a hard right turn, and I was figuring everything out on the fly.

You’ve seen the motivational print hanging in office buildings – the one with a stunning image of an eagle in flight, and a caption about excellence in leadership, or choosing action over fear. I was not that. I was more like a clumsy ostrich on the run … I didn’t know where I was going, but I knew where I came from, and didn’t want to go back.
